 Valuation of the shares of Deutsche Hypothekenbank (Actien-Gesellschaft), Hanover and Berlin, at € 406.65 per unit share

 BHF-BANK Aktiengesellschaft has calculated the value of its own assets. This calculation provides the basis for a cash settlement offer to be extended to BHF-BANK's outside shareholders. The valuation also included the value of BHF-BANK's shareholding in Deutsche Hypothekenbank (Actien-Gesellschaft), in which the bank has a majority shareholding. Each unit share of Deutsche Hypothekenbank (Actien-Gesellschaft) was determined as having a value of € 406.65. The adequacy of the valuation has been confirmed by Arthur Andersen Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH.
