 Supervisory Board meeting of Deutsche Hypothekenbank
(Actien-Gesellschaft) held on 12 December 2001

 The Supervisory Board of Deutsche Hypothekenbank (Actien-Gesellschaft) Hanover/Berlin has appointed Mr. Jürgen Morr ordinary member of its Board of Managing Directors with effect from 1 January 2002. Mr. Morr holds responsibility for international mortgage business and credit risk management in Germany.

Mr. Morr has been an alternate member of the Board of Managing Directors since 17 May 2001.
