Press release, Hanover, 26 September 2002 Regarding changes in its Supervisory Board The Supervisory Board of Deutsche Hypothekenbank (Actien-Gesellschaft), Hanover/Berlin, which forms part of the ING BHF-BANK Group, approved the request of Dr. Michael Frenzel, Chairman of the Board of TUI AG, to resign from his office as member of the Supervisory Board with effect from 17 June 2002 so as to be elected to the Supervisory Board of ING BHF-BANK AG. Dr. Frenzel had been a member of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Hypo since May 1997. The Supervisory Board wishes to thank Dr. Frenzel for the valuable work and support provided in the past years. Mr. Sytse A. Andringa, Speaker of the Board of Managing Directors of ING BHF-BANK AG, has joined the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Hypothekenbank as a new member.
