Capital market business is playing an increasingly important role at Deutsche Hypo. Our customer base is made up of regional authorities in Western Europe and North America and entities guaranteed by them and we concentrate, in particular, on debtors with first-class credit ratings. When assessing creditworthiness, we draw not only upon ratings produced by leading rating agencies, but also upon the findings of our own analysts. In addition, we make use of the Foundation Internal Rating Based Approach, in accordance with Basel II.
Alongside fixed and variable-interest rate schemes, we also provide structured terms and conditions that are tailored to the individual needs of our customers.
