Joint liability scheme

As a subsidiary of the NORD/LB, the Deutsche Hypo is affiliated with the Joint Liability of the Savings Banks Financial Group. The responsible protection scheme provides assistance should a member institution encounter economic difficulties. Its task is to ensure an institution’s solvency and liquidity within the scope provided for under law.

Letter of comfort

NORD/LB expresses its commitment to Deutsche Hypo on page 281 of its Annual Report 2018: “NORD/LB ensures that the following companies are able to meet their obligations: (…) Deutsche Hypothekenbank (Actien-Gesellschaft), Hanover.”
