From 14th to 17th March 2023,<\/strong> Deutsche Hypo \u2013 NORD\/LB Real Estate Finance will again be represented at the internationally renowned real estate fair MIPIM in the Palais des Festivals in Cannes (France). For the first time, Deutsche Hypo \u2013 NORD\/LB Real Estate Finance will be present at the German Cities & Regions Pavilion on a joint stand with the state capital of Hanover, the Hanover region and KSB Intax (Stand R8.D24). With at least 20,000 participants from 80 countries, MIPIM is one of the largest real estate fairs in the world. Together with EXPO REAL, MIPIM is one of the leading trade fairs for the real estate industry.<\/p>\n

This year’s MIPIM motto Better Places – Greater Impact – Stronger Business<\/em> addresses topics that are currently affecting the commercial real estate market. \u201cOn one hand, this year is about how workplaces in the offices can be made more attractive. With increased remote work rates resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, it is now all the more important to give employees incentives to come back to the office more often.”, says J\u00f6rg Frischholz, CEO of NORD\/LB. “On the other hand, the topic of ESG and the associated decarbonisation of the real estate industry is also of great importance, considering a share of almost 40 percent of global CO\u2082 emissions within the sector and the considerable savings potential here.”<\/p>\n

Other topics at MIPIM will include the new market conditions with higher interest rates and falling real estate prices. Frank Schrader, Head of Deutsche Hypo – NORD\/LB Real Estate Finance: “Compared to the turn of the year, we can already observe a somewhat busier market today. Although the uncertainty is still noticeable, the slow stabilization of interest rates is causing the market to become more active again. We look forward to exchanging ideas with you at MIPIM.
