This equates to an increase of \u20ac\u00a0465.5 million, or 11.4\u00a0%, on the previous year\u2019s figure of \u20ac 4,075 million. Deutsche Hypo increased its commitment volumes both in its domestic market and its international target markets.<\/p>\n<p>Accounting for 62.4\u00a0% of new business volume (2015: 60.1\u00a0%), new business continued to be focused in Germany. Domestic commitment volume amounted to \u20ac\u00a02,832 million (2015: \u20ac\u00a02,449 million). The lion\u2019s share of new business outside of Germany was registered in UK with \u20ac\u00a0749 million (2015: \u20ac\u00a0730 million), followed by the Benelux region, where volume increased by 14\u00a0% to \u20ac\u00a0653 million (2015: \u20ac\u00a0572 million). All in all, new business volume in all international target markets totalled \u20ac\u00a01,709 million (2015: \u20ac\u00a01,626 million).<\/p>\n<p>In terms of asset classes, office properties continued to dominate the bank\u2019s new business and accounted for \u20ac\u00a02,010 million (2015: \u20ac\u00a01,823 million) of new business volume.
