Deutsche Hypothekenbank is financing a logistics centre in North Rhine-Westphalia for a property company of Dietz AG. The financing volume is in the mid double-digit million range and will be provided over a term of just under two years.
The financing object with a total area of almost 57,000 square meters will meet the current requirements of a logistics property with a functional and modern distribution concept. LEED Gold certification is being sought for the green building. The property has a supra-regional and convenient location in the immediate vicinity of highways 6, 4 and 61, making it optimally accessible for truck traffic.
“Logistics real estate is undoubtedly considered a segment of the future and could emerge as a clear winner of the corona pandemic” explains Andreas Rehfus, Member of the Board of Managing Directors of Deutsche Hypo. “We are pleased to be able to accompany Dietz AG, with whom we have a long-standing and trusting relationship, in this future-proof project financing.”
