Deutsche Hypo – after fusion with NORD/LB as of 01.07.2021 a brand of NORD/LB – is financing now under the name Deutsche Hypo – NORD/LB Real Estate Finance an office and commercial building complex for Goldman Sachs in an attractive inner-city location in Leipzig. The loan amount of 65 million euros will be made available over a period of five years. The main tenant of the property is Deutsche Bahn, occupying 26 percent of the space.
The eight-storey building complex with integrated underground car park (216 parking spaces) offers a usable area of 26,374 square meters, mainly used as office space. The property, built in 1996, is designed as a multi-tenant building and can therefore be flexibly divided and used. With its location in the city center and the direct proximity to the main train station, the property provides very good connectivity.
“Compared to other office markets, Leipzig recorded the lowest percentage decline in take-up compared to the previous year and is therefore particularly attractive for us,” explains Frank Schrader, Head of Deutsche Hypo – NORD/LB Real Estate Finance. “We look forward to accompanying Goldman Sachs with this successful financing.”
